I’m Ruggero Eugeni, a Full Professor of Media Semiotics at Catholic University of Milan (Italy)
This website/weblog is addressed to scholars and students of Film and Media Studies.
You can read and download some academic papers about Media Semiotics written by me, by my colleagues and my students, both in Italian and in English (and, in some cases, in other European languages). A specific area is devoted to discussion and implementation of shared works in progress.
In this website/weblog, media semiotics is regarded as a theory and practice of analysis of the media experience - i.e. the part of our ordinary, embodied, embedded and situated experience designed and constituted by media devices -.
